The Animal Farm Movie

Animal Farm, is based on a novel written by George Orwell. Published in England on 17 August 1945, the book reflects events leading up to and during the Stalin era before World War II. Orwell, a democratic socialist and a member of the Independent Labour Party for many years, was a critic of Joseph Stalinand was suspicious of Moscow-directed Stalinism after his experiences with the NKVD during the Spanish Civil War. In a letter to Yvonne Davet, Orwell described Animal Farm as his novel "contre Stalin". When Sir Kamaraziz played this movie in front of the class, the first thing I say in the class is "disgusting" because it is a movie about a 'pig' and its commandments. the beginning of the movie is the animals are under the rule of Old Major, the old boar of Manor Farm calls for a meeting with all the animals before he died accidentally take a shot by the drunken owner Mr. Jones. After the death of Old Major, Snowball and Napoleon took place in rebuild the farm and gain full control of the farm by expelling all the human being and rename the farm as Animal Farm. There are 7 commandments which are:

  1. Whatever goes upon two legs is an enemy
  2. Whatever goes upon four legs, or has wings, is a friend.
  3. No animal shall wear clothes.
  4. No animal shall sleep in a bed.
  5. No animal shall drink alcohol.
  6. No animal shall kill any other animal.
  7. All animals are equal.

However, at the end Napoleon gain full control after he cooperate with the human for his own sake and also to Mr. Frederick. Many animals including Boxer the horse were traded for Napoleon's alcohols. The leader uses his society just for the sake of himself and it has happen in our society.
